A hair test can provide information about what a person is using on a regular basis.  A positive result from a hair sample indicates the frequency of use and/or the use of a large amount of an illegal drug.

On average, hair grows approximately 1/2 inch per month.  Therefore, each 1/2 inch of head hair can provide a 30 history of drug usage.  The maxium amount of hair we can test with each sample is 1 1/2 inch.  This allows 90 days past drug history to be identified.  Many custody cases request a hair collection for drug analysis.

Bleaches, shampoos, and external contaminants have no impact on the results.

We offer a 6 and 9 drug panel laboratory analysis.  Hair analysis is more costly than urine testing but gives a longer history.  The price we can quote you for hair analysis will still allow this method to be in your range of choice for determining drug choice.
